What we offer

Hendy and Fern toiletries are made in Yorkshire from sustainable ingredients. Our Products have been developed to support wellbeing and reduce single use plastics without compromising on quality. Our product range varies from single bar soaps to huge 5L hand wash refills for hospitality providers.

Our story

“In 2019 the BBC documentary "War on Plastic with Hugh and Anita" brought the issue of our over use of plastic into sharp focus for me and in an attempt to reduce my plastic consumption I started making my own toiletries. Soon, I was making my own bar soaps, bath salts and hand creams and gifting them to family and friends. 

Then in 2022, I opened a holiday cottage at the Yorkshire coast, which gave me the opportunity to leave my products as complimentary toiletries for guests. Before I knew it, I was being asked where they could be purchased and this inspired me to set up an online store."

Our favourite things to do in Yorkshire

When we’re not making soaps, we love to spend as much time outdoors as possible walking at Yorkshire Coast or cycling in the Yorkshire Dales.  There are so many tempting café stops along the way where you can get a proper cup of Yorkshire Tea or locally made ice cream.
